Surrounded by tree-covered hills and heather clad mountain glens, it is an area of outstanding beauty. With its quiet roads and magnificent scenery Ballater is an ideal holiday area and an excellent centre for touring; within easy distance of Aberdeen, Stonehaven, Inverness and Perth.
